Mission

Bridging the gap of understanding through knowledge by sharing stories of the ultimate courage and endurance of the less privileged and frequently exploited and neglected by the averages and normals. Their stories and alternate realities are expected to inspire a positive thought or action to alleviate the pain and suffering of the ones who either live on the margins of the society or discriminated due the misunderstanding of the mainstream.

Bridging the Gap is not-for-profit organizations exempt, from tax under 501 (c) (3) IRS Code. Donations to the organization are exempt from tax and are fully expended on the tax exempt purposes approved by the IRS.

Programs

If you must use me, don't abuse me
Story of a small donkey, who has been lugging the burden of humans for centuries without adequate food and care.  Frequently beaten and injured by the owner. South Asian country like Pakistan, even today is very comfortable with idea of animal abuse specifically small poor donkeys.



I may be small, do not name call
Story of a young small child in Anacostia river who was abused and bullied by bigger boys which made him to revert to missing school and ultimately trying to take his own life. A public school system that is unable to provide equal educational opportunity to a special need student.



I may be homeless but world is my home
Story of a homeless man and woman who live their lives under the open sky in a DC park at day time and night under the bridge. How our city of world class not able to provide a basic decency of life. Woman on the other hand making something out of open space her home without walls.



I'm too loyal to be thrown bricks at
Story of a dog named George with a deep oozing wound roaming in the city of Lahore afraid of humans who would throw stones at him to get him out of sight rather than offering to badge his wound.



I'm a Talib but Don't know any Better
Story of a boy who grew up in a Madrassa in Pakistan where live to die and die to live became a burning passion until he below himself up in flames to leaving hundreds of innocent bodies burn to ashes so that he could enter Janet making Allah happy.

Horse name Lucky was the apple of his owner’s eye until Jackies were able to run him at a lightning speed leaving most behind but due to his fall and resulting injury he is awaiting shot dead.

Centuries old small tools are as old as our bodies and basically no real change but improvement and perfection is the desired change.
